Karen Camilleri - Director
Karen is an AHPRA Registered Occupational Therapist, member of Occupational Therapy Australia, Accredited Workhab Assessor (NS0201069) and has completed tertiary studies in Workplace Health & Safety and Workplace Assessment & Training. Karen graduated from The University of Sydney in 1990, after completing a Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Working in a public hospital setting in a large Sydney-based teaching hospital during the initial years of her career provided a solid foundation before entering the Occupational Rehabilitation industry.
Karen commenced work as a rehabilitation consultant during 1994, delivering occupational rehabilitation services, including case management, under Workcover NSW, CTP and Comcare schemes.

Karen’s areas of expertise include worksite assessments; ergonomic workstation assessments; functional assessments; Occupational Therapy Activities of Daily Living Assessments (ADL); task analysis; functional education; and delivery of workplace training including manual handling training; office ergonomics; and manual handling of people.
Witnessing first hand, the adverse impact of work-related injury on all aspects of people’s lives during her 20+ year work history in compensable injury management has been the driving force behind Karen’s mission to prevent workplace injury.
Karen has particular interest in injury prevention and has also worked extensively with office workers to facilitate comfort and safe postures at work. She appreciates the value of educating people in safe postures, correct ergonomic adjustment of the work environment and the importance of movement and stretching and the benefits of this in preventing injury and reducing workers’ compensation costs for the employer.
Karen enjoys developing and delivering interactive, practical and tailored training packages in office ergonomics and manual handling, specifically designed to meet the needs of her clients. She is passionate about teaching and demonstrating good work practices to enable people to work more comfortably, safely and efficiently.
Karen’s mission is to share her knowledge and skills to empower and inspire people to be healthy and injury-free during their work lives, to reduce the pain, suffering and costs associated with work-related injury and illness.
