Vehicle Ergonomics Training
For workers whose occupation involves driving, their vehicle is their work environment. As with an office environment, incorrect adjustment of the vehicle may lead to discomfort, fatigue, pain and even injury.
Training employees in correct adjustment of the seat, steering wheel, mirrors and seat belt, increases awareness and comfort and reduces the risk of workplace injury.
For people spending several hours behind the wheel each day, simple vehicle adjustments can be effective in not only increasing worker comfort but reducing injury, which can result from incorrect vehicle adjustment. Increased comfort leads to increased productivity, improved staff morale and reduced absenteeism and ultimately a happier, healthier workforce.
AIP has worked extensively with workers, such as sales representatives, merchandisers, couriers and truck drivers and uses a practical approach to educate employees on safe vehicle adjustment, safe manual handling techniques when loading and unloading cargo and general health tips for driving.
At AIP our training packages are designed to give our participants a hands-on, fun and interactive experience and our repeat business is testimony to this.
